
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1] is an American actor from America. Her credits include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla who is the mother of Selena, in Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She currently plays Camila Diaz, the star of the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie started her acting career in her teens. In 1988 she scored an appearance in Salsa. Other credits in film and television include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role of Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the lead in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She also appeared on the set of the PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she introduced her own clothing line "The Constance Marie Collection". [2] She was also the subject of an advertisement from PETA that urged people to spay or neuter their pets. 3. Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters, Regina Vasquez. She starred in the drama ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 until 2017.
