Sofia and Ann

The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up within Orange County. Her breakthrough came in acting after graduating from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a small part in NCIS as well as Leverage. Then she landed the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from soap operas, the actress landed the role of Catalina on Jane the Virgin. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. In May 2021, news broke that Pernas Hartley has recently tied the knot in secret.
